Description
Is it Fall? Have extra apple butter? These are a yummy treat! (From Half Baked Harvest 2023)

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
Add 1 1/2 sticks butter to a skillet over medium heat and allow to brown until it smells toasted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and pour into mixing bowl. Add the remaining 1/2 stick butter and let cool for about 5 minutes.
To the butter, add the brown sugar, maple syrup, apple butter, egg and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Fold in the chocolate chips and pecans.
Spread the dough into the prepared pan and bake for 18-22 minutes, until the edges are just setting and the center is still slightly doughy. Let cool.
To make the glaze, melt together the butter and maple syrup in a small pan over medium heat. Remove from heat and whisk in the powdered sugar, vanilla and salt. Drizzle glaze over the bars.. Let set for 5 minutes, cut into bars and enjoy!
Makes about 24 Blondies!

1 cup butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup apple butter
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Glaze:
3 T. butter
3 T. Maple syrup
1/2 - 3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
