Description
An old recipe my mom made when I was growing up.
|
Directions
Brown chops on both sides and arrange in a single layer in a baking dish. Season to taste with salt and pepper. On each chop, place 1 tablespoon of dry rice, 1 tomato slice, 1 green pepper ring and 1 onion slice. Mix water and tomato sauce and carefully pour around the pork chops. Cover baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours or until the rice is tender. Remove onion slices and place cheese slices on each chop, then replace the onions slice on top of the cheese. Bake 10 minutes longer. Makes 6 servings.
