MainRecipesSoup | Black and White Bean Chili

Black and White Bean Chili submitted by Mom Johnson
This is one of our favorite winter-time soups...I usually double the recipe. Increase the amount of chili powder or canned chilies for more "heat"!

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat until hot. Add onions and garlic; cook until onions are tender. Stir in flour, chili powder and cumin. Gradually add milk. Add remaining ingredients except cilantro; stir to combine. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in chopped cilantro. Granish each serving with a cilantro sprig, if desired. Makes 6, 1 1/3 cup servings.
