			| | Description A recipe from my Grandma Werner......made as a Christmas "cookie".
 
 
 | 
 | Directions Cream butter and sugar.  Add eggs.  Mix in flour, cinnamon and chopped dates.  Divide batter between 2 small bread loaf pans and smooth tops.  "Let cold water run over the tops and pour off.  Then sprinkle with sugar and chopped pecans."  Bake at 325 for about 1/2 hour.  Cool, then cut into 1/2 inch slices.  Keeps well.
