Description
Not sure where this recipe came from but I have adapted it to take with us on our summer hikes. These bars are healthy and really good!

Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray. Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Whisk together the eggs, oil and vanilla; add to dry ingredients. Spread into pan and bake until set...about 17-22 minutes. cool for 30 minutes and cut into bars. Store tightly covered for up to 2 weeks. Freeze in a moisture-proof container for up to 6 months.

Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups whole grain oatmeal
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (use only if nuts are unsalted)
2 cups walnuts, pecans, peanuts, or almonds or a mixture!
1/2 cup coconut
1 cup dried fruit, cranberries, blueberries, apricots, raisins or apples or a mixture
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 slightly beaten eggs
3/4 to 1 cup canola oil
