The Margot Johnson Collection of recipes of which there are only a few, were found in Aaron's grandma's sweet wooden rolltop recipe box. This recipe is from Grandma's friend Carol.

Heat oven to 375F.

Beat butter, sugar, and egg yolks for 3 min. Mix in dry ingredients and extracts with sour cream. Beat egg whites with cardamon.

Fold into batter mix well. Grease tube pan - Bake 1 hour.

v 1/2 lb butter
v 2 cups sugar
v 4 eggs - separated
v 8 oz sour cream
v 3 cups flour
v 1/2 tsp baking soda
v 1 tsp baking powder
v 1 tsp vanilla
v 1/2 tsp almond extract
v 1/2 cup raisins (mixed in flour)
v 1/2 tsp cardamon
