MainRecipesHoliday | Great-Grandma's Lemon Jello Cake

Great-Grandma's Lemon Jello Cake submitted by Karen Johnson
Every trip to Great Grandma's house in Novato, CA brought delicious hopes of eating her Lemon Jello Cake, ever so slowly with Dreyers Vanilla ice cream and Pepperidge Farms chocolate dipped cookies. The lemon flavor bursts with every bite!!!

Beat the first 4 ingredients at high speed for 5 minutes. Grease and flour a 13x9" cake pan. Pour batter into cake pan and bake at 350 F. for approx. 35 minutes on center rack.

Topping: Juice of 2 lemons, mixed with 2 cups powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Prick cake with fork all over and brush with mixture until it soaks in.
