This is a pretzel shape pastry.

Heat oven 450F

Mix ingredients. Add more flour, stir lightly, then knead it a bit. Put in refrigerator overnight. Next day take 1 heaping tablespoon of dough and roll out like a 6-8 inch pencil and put in a figure 8 shape, place on cookie sheet.

Bake for 7-10 minutes. Serve as soon as possible

v 1 cup whipping cream
v 1 cup buttermilk
v 1 tsp vanilla
v 1/4 cup anise seed (optional)
v 1 tsp salt
v 1 tsp baking soda
v 1 tsp baking powder
v 4 cup flour
