MainRecipesDessert | Lemon Sauce (Curd)

Lemon Sauce (Curd) submitted by Karen Johnson
Description
This lemon sauce is absolutely delicious and can be used as a lemon curd in recipes as well. From my great grandmother Florence Rathburn.

Directions
Blend all ingredients except water, use half and judge desired thickness by adding as much of remaining half as you wish. Cook over low flame for 15 minutes.

When using lemon sauce on holiday pudding; I like to make a hard sauce with a cube of butter, powdered sugar and 1 t of vanilla (or brandy if you wish). Put hard sauce on warm pudding with the warm lemon sauce on top - very good.

Good luck and good eating!

If the lemon is very juicy you may not need a half - taste it.
