Mostaccioli-Broccoli Bake submitted by Mom Johnson
A yummy side dish or vegetarian meal!

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cook pasta to desired doneness; drain and rinse with hot water. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and stir in the flour until well-blended. Add milk all at once, cooking until thickened. Stir in the parmesan cheese, salts and thyme. Remove from heat. Combine pasta, vegetables and sauce in a 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle Swiss cheese on top and bake for 10-15 minutes. Serves 6

v 2 3/4 cup uncooked mostaccioli pasta
v 1/4 cup butter
v 1/4 cup flour
v 2 cups milk
v 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
v 1/2 tsp. salt
v 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
v Pinch of crushed thyme leaves
v 3 cups cooked, drained and cut-up broccoli
v 1 cup sliced carrots, cooked and drained
v 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
