A nice summer change from regular beef burgers!
For salsa: In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients, cover and chill till serving time.
For chicken burgers: Combine chicken and all remaining ingredients. Mix well and shape into 4, 3/4inch-thick patties. Grill meat on the grill rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium-hot coals for 14-18 minutes or till no pink remains, turning once. Serve burgers with salsa.
1/3 cup purchased Sweet and Sour Sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp. snipped fresh cilantro
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/8 - 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
2-3 medium peaches, peeled, pitted and chopped (1 1/2 cups)
(1 pear, cored and chopped) Optional
1 T. finely chopped onion
1 pound ground raw chicken
1//2 cup finely chopped onion
2 tsp. dried or chopped fresh basil
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. hot sauce
