A delicious and light summer salad that you can change up by adding different seasonal summer fruits or greens. Add chunks of chicken or turkey or pork for a more substantial meal.
Whisk together the sugar, sesame seeds and oil, poppy seeds, dried onion, paprika, oil and vinegar. Refrigerate until chilled.
In a salad bowl, combine the spinach or greens and the suit of your choice. Drizzle with dressing, toss lightly and serve!
1/2 cup white sugar
2 T. toasted sesame seeds
1/2 tsp. sesame oil
1 T. poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp. friend minced onion
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup balsamic or raspberry balsamic vinegar
2 bunches fresh leaf spinach (or other favorite greens)
1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
Optional - use fresh black berries, blueberries, raspberries, mandarin oranges or avocados and glazed nuts like pecans or walnuts.
