Sweet Potato Biscuits submitted by Mom Johnson
Enjoy these biscuits on Thanksgiving day and then again with cranberry sauce and left-over turkey sandwiches!

Combine flour, cinnamon, cardamom and sugar in a medium bowl. Mix in frozen, grated butter lightly. Toss with mashed sweet potato and then buttermilk. Shape into 1/2 inch thick biscuits and bake at 450 degrees for about 12 minutes. Serve warm with cranberry sauce and/or honey butter!

v 2 1/4 cups self-rising flour
v 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
v 1/8 tsp. cardamom
v 2 T. sugar
v 1/2 cup butter, frozen then grated
v 1 1/2 cup mashed sweet potatoes
v 1/2 cup buttermilk
