Pumpkin Muffins submitted by Mom Johnson
A favorite Fall recipe from my Grandma Werner.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Grease bottoms of muffin tins. Beat eggs slightly with a fork. Stir in milk, pumpkin and melted butter. Blend dry ingredients and stir just till flour is moistened. Batter should be lumpy. Fold in raisins or cranberries. Fill muffin tins 2/3rd's full and bake for 18-20 minutes or till tops are lightly browned. Makes 12 muffins.

v 1 egg
v 1/2 cup milk
v 1/2 cup mashed, cooked or canned pumpkin
v 1/4 cup butter, melted
v 1 1/2 cups flour
v 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
v 2 tsp. baking powder
v 1/2 tsp. salt
v 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
v 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
v 1/2 tsp. allspice
v 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
