Peach-Cranberry Yam Bake submitted by Mom Johnson
Another little twist on the traditional sweet potato dish for either Thanksgiving or Christmas.

In a large bowl, combine the yams and peaches. Blend cranberry sauce with 2 T. reserved yam juice and drizzle over yams and peaches. Add nuts and gently toss ingredients to mix well. Spoon mixture evenly into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or microwave on HIGH for 10-15 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Garnish with parsley sprigs as desired. Serves 8.

v 2 cans (18 oz. each) Candied yams, drained but reserving syrup
v 2 cans (16 oz. each) natural style peaches, drained
v 1 can (16 oz.) Whole berry cranberry sauce
v 2/3 cup shelled walnuts, coarsely chopped
v Parsley sprigs, optional
