A salad to have when company comes or at holiday time.
We use to enjoy this salad at Thanksgiving dinner at
Put the first three ingedients in a sauce pan on the
stove and bring it to a boil.
Mix in the Jello and when completely dissolved add the
Refrigerate it until it is soft set
Then fold in the whipped cream and cheese and return
to refrigerator until firm
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 small can of crushed pineapple
1 small pk. Lemon Jello
1/2 cup cold water
small carton whipped cream or cool whip
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Can double this recipe to feed a large group
