Directions
In a large bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Combine dry ingredients; stir into the fruit mixture.
Pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
For the frosting, in a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and butter until smooth. Beat in the milk and vanilla; frost cake. Store in the refrigerator. 12-15 servings.

2 cups shredded peeled tart apple
2 cups shredded peeled pears
2 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups canola oil
1 cup dark or golden raisins
1 cup chopped pecans
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
Cream Cheese Icing:
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 T. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
