Description
This is one of our favorite winter-time soups...I usually double the recipe. Increase the amount of chili powder or canned chilies for more "heat"!

Directions
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat until hot. Add onions and garlic; cook until onions are tender. Stir in flour, chili powder and cumin. Gradually add milk. Add remaining ingredients except cilantro; stir to combine. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in chopped cilantro. Granish each serving with a cilantro sprig, if desired. Makes 6, 1 1/3 cup servings.

2 T. oil
1 cup chopped onions
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 cup flour
1-2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
2 cups milk
2 (9oz.) pkg. frozen petite white corn
1 can (15 oz.) small white beans
1 can (15 oz.) black beans
1 can (14 1/2 oz.) ready-to-serve chicken broth
2 cups cubed, cooked chicken
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chiles, undrained
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
