Make your own bread crumbs to top your favorite chicken, salads, soups or macaroni and cheese! Mmm!

Preheat the broiler. Cut the bread in half lengthwise, then cut it crosswise into cubes. Put cubes on a baking
sheet and toast under broiler until golden. Set bread cubes aside to dry thoroughly. Combine bread cubes and remaining ingredients, and process in food processor until coarse crumbs form. Store in
an airtight jar. Makes 1-1/2 cups.

v 1 loaf French bread, one day old
v 1 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
v 1-1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
v 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
v 1-1/2 teaspoons dried basil
