MainRecipesKids | Winter Bird Food Recipe!

Winter Bird Food Recipe! submitted by Mom Johnson
Description
Our winter birds here in Mammoth LOVE this concoction. It's easy, quick and stores in the freezer.

Directions
Heat water and shortening and peanut butter to boiling. Turn off the heat and add remaining ingredients, stirring till thickened. Pour into 9x13 inch pans and chill. When firm, cut into chunks and store in the freezer. I put out the frozen chunks as they are into the bird feeder (it's cold here so it doesn't go bad). Enjoy all the bird action!
